We are working on more than 100 pages and growing! You can help!
Welcome to the Adaptation and Appropriation Database, a digital humanities project designed to capture and examine the scholarly relationships surrounding the creative works by canonical authors and various creative adaptations of those works through the documentation of adaptation scholarship. For more information about the theoretical context of the project, see AADB:About. To learn how to help, check out AADB:How to help. Many of the templates and data structures have been adapted from the Referata wiki WikiPapers. This project is currently in an alpha stage of development, thus much of the material might change before a more user-friendly project goes live. If you would like to learn more about the project see our AADB:About or see our Prezi describing the project's concept.
The best way to access the content in our current Alpha Version of the Wiki is through the following lists and categories:
- Glossary of key adaptation concepts
- List of journal articles
- List of book chapters
- List of creative works
